What is a digital work order?
A digital work order records what work has been carried out, where and by whom, including hours worked, materials used, any additional work and photographs. The employee completes the work order in the app and the customer signs it digitally, without using any paper.
How do I create a work order in the app?
A scheduled job is available as a work order in the app. The employee enters the hours, materials and tasks, adds photos and gets the customer to sign off. Any additional work can be created on the spot as a new or supplementary work order.
Can the customer sign the work order digitally?
Yes. The customer or contact person signs directly on the screen of the phone or tablet. A signed work order cannot be amended, which prevents any disputes arising afterwards.
