Reproduced from Building Management magazine August 2013. More and more cleaning companies are discovering the convenience, efficiency and savings potential of FacilityApps apps from Purmerend. These are suitable for tablet, smartphone and PC and work on all systems. The apps are also a real solution for facility building management, construction companies and installation companies.

Cleaning company Teico Lijnden

Teico B.V. from Lijnden, a nationwide cleaning company with a branch in Vollenhove, has been a satisfied user of FacilityApps apps for some time. Teico provides cleaning maintenance and related facility services for both business customers and government. "Customer focus, transparency and excellent service are important pillars of our philosophy," says business analyst Daan Schouten. "The FacilityApps apps fit in perfectly. This allows us to keep our appointments, maintain short lines, be flexible and take care of things."

Teico deploys the apps in phases to properly secure all processes towards the customer. In the first phase, in addition to standard functionalities such as notifications, order forms, contract info and conversation reports, extra information services are offered to area managers and site leaders. In the second phase, more functionalities are deployed. "Then the apps should form a basis for additional turnover," Schouten expects.

GCA Cleaning Amstelveen

GCA Cleaning from Amstelveen also chose the FacilityApps cleaning app package. General manager Michael Kronenburg says his company can further professionalise its communication towards clients through the collaboration with FacilityApps. "We see a major advantage in this concept. We want to be able to serve our clients even faster. We can also process our quality reports and visit reports here. By working with these apps, our area managers now have everything at hand at a glance."

Succes Cleaning Volendam

Succes Cleaning from Volendam, a well-known player on the cleaning market, has long recognised the power of innovations. As early as 2010, they had the idea of gaining more grip on operational processes with the help of apps. Operational director Nico Schokker: "We wanted to achieve advantages in three areas: for ourselves, for our supervisors and for our customers." The solution was found at FacilityApps, where former Succes employee Dirk Tuip is commercial director.

Financial director Gerard Veerman of Succes sees many advantages in working with the FacilityApps apps. "Management can now follow and secure processes one by one. Our supervisors spend considerably less time on standard paperwork and do not have to come to the office so often. A lot of work also disappears at headquarters, including at the business office, payroll and personnel affairs."

Cleaning company Foodguard

Cleaning and hygiene specialist FoodGuard from Almere has also chosen the FacilityApps modules. "High requirements are set in the food processing industry," says general director Minze van der Veen. "Strict controls by our project leaders are therefore essential. FacilityApps strengthen our online track and tracing system. We use them for planning, execution and controls. Through practical elements such as instant ticket processing with or without photos, we can switch quickly and everything remains stored paperlessly. We save time and achieve higher efficiency. We can put everything in the FacilityApps apps."
