FacilityApps and Vileda Professional sign partnership
FacilityApps and Vileda Professional are entering into a partnership to make cleaning companies more efficient together. With the iQonnect App, in which the main FacilityApps apps are integrated into a total solution, cleaning companies can significantly reduce their costs by digitizing the main operational processes. The partnership was launched at CMS in Berlin and will initially focus on Germany and Russia.
Digitalization in cleaning
Dirk Tuip, CEO of FacilityApps: 'Vileda Professional and suppliers in the cleaning industry notice that the world is changing rapidly, influenced by the technological revolution and digitalization. Other business models are emerging and completely new market entrants are appearing, who can often grow quickly through IT.'
Tuip: 'Of course we are very happy and proud to take this step. Over the past years we have been in discussions with several 'cleaning giants' from the industry, especially after Interclean 2016. However, it is not easy to turn this into concrete partnerships. Certainly not because we want to remain independent and believe in a more open source world where you have to collaborate more and more to really get things moving. Fortunately Vileda sees this too.'
'The worlds of 'David' and 'Goliath' are very different however. After no less than 2 years of preparatory talks and exploration, the time has finally come. We hope to be able to focus even more on improving and expanding our apps for cleaning companies.'
Germany and Russia
Vileda and FacilityApps have started implementing apps at cleaning companies in Germany and Russia. Vileda employees have been trained and are guided by FacilityApps cleaning consultants. 'Software and apps are of course different from mops and work carts. But what Vileda and FacilityApps have in common is the customer and the goal: to give cleaning companies more efficiency and end customers more transparency in the cleaning process.'
