Facility Data Standard

Apart from its own stand (1178), FacilityApps is also involved in setting up a Facility Data Standard. Dirk Tuip, CEO of FacilityApps, has joined the board of this data consortium, which has set itself the goal of introducing a worldwide standard for linking data in the cleaning and facilities industry.

Large parties in the cleaning industry have already confirmed their participation in the Facility Data Standard. There will be several meetings to get this standard off the ground, allowing the entire cleaning industry to develop’, says Dirk Tuip.

FDS is dedicated to advancing global open standards for secure data transfer and integration in the facility ecosystem, developed by the industry subject matter experts, so that the benefits of electronic information technology are widely, quickly, and economically available to the industry. Panel sessions IOT in Cleaning

In addition, Dirk was also asked to sit in a panel during Hydro’s educational seminar on the ‘Internet of Things’ in cleaning. It has been called: “Innovation and Insights: How to Take Your Internet of Things (IoT) Initiative to the Next Level.”  The seminar will take place on Monday 18 November from 2 a.m. to 3 p.m. in room S224. If you want to know more about real life IoT projects, lessons learned and more, come to this seminar.

American Growth

Chris Van Den Berg, CCO Facility Apps: “We are very much looking forward to the largest cleaning fair on the American continent. Several steps are being taken here in which FacilityApps will operate more and more in a supportive manner for its partners OPHARDT, Facility Genius and Vileda. These companies represent us on the American continent.

In the future, FacilityApps will increasingly focus on the development of the platform. Partnerships are of crucial importance here, because together we are strong. If our partners focus on selling the platform, FacilityApps can focus more on the development of the platform.

But most of all, we are looking forward to taking the first steps with our new partners and meeting potential new customers,” concludes Chris.

You can find FacilityApps on stand number 1178.
